You give the gift of knowledge when you support Patterson Library. Your gift insures that everyone in the community - your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers- will have free and equal access to the exciting world of ideas. Your tax-deductible checks may be made payable to: "Patterson Library" and sent to 40 S. Portage St., Westfield, NY 14787

2. To support the Capital Fund for building improvements and/or equipment purchases... OR
3. Where it's needed the most

Opportunities to donate to the Library in memory of an individual or to honor a special person are provided by Patterson Library. Occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, gratitude to an outstanding teacher, etc. are the perfect times to contribute to the Library to pay tribute to the important people in our lives. In the case of a memorial or tribute, the Library will send acknowledgement cards.  Please give the complete address of the individual to whom you wish the acknowledgement card to be sent when making donations of these types. Book plates showing the donor's name and the name of the person being remembered or honored are placed in the front of library books or attached to library media materials.

The library also accepts gifts of materials but reserves the right to evaluate and to dispose of them in accordance with the materials selection policy. Gifts of books that do not accord with the library's objectives and policies will be refused or sold at the library's book sale.
